About Me

I am a fourth-year Computer Science PhD student at the School of Interactive Computing in Georgia Institute of Technology working with Dr. Michael L. Best at the T+ID lab.

I received by B.S. in Computer Science and B.A. in Linguistics from University of Washington. During my time at UW, I was fortunate to work with Dr. Luke Zettlemoyer and Dr. Terra Blevins.

Research Interest

My research interests lie in the intersection of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Human Computer Interaction (HCI). Specifically, I have worked on evaluating the generalisation of NLP across time, building resources for various languages, and applying NLP techniques for social media analysis.

My current research focuses on the development for low-resource language technology in the era of large language models (LLMs). I am particularly interested in understanding such development from a human-centered perspective, investigating the development for low-resource languages that are commonly ignored by the NLP community and how we can advance such technology that is beneficial for the speakers of these languages.
